Les
Les is a drawing ruler used to create L shapes quickly and precisely. The tool is based on a traditional 30 centimetre triangle ruler, so it serves two purposes. Movable tabs are placed in the required positions, and the cut guide is then followed with a pen or pencil. Shapes can be symmetrical or asymmetrical, with lengths from 2 to 20 centimetres in steps of 1 centimetre. Repeated measuring is not needed, and the right angle is already set. Les is made of plastic by laser cutting and molding.
Les Quick L-Shape Ruler by George Galcsik was identified as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Les Quick L-Shape Ruler received the Silver A' Design Award in Art and Stationery Supplies Design in 2019.
